ENTRY PROCEDURE:
The costs per team is from 1 June - 30 June is R28 000, and from 1 July will change to R35 000 (VAT inclusive). The entry must be paid in full upon the day of entry to secure your spot.

A difference to normal team entry procedures will be that, on entry day, all 50 available team entries will be allocated to the first 100 individuals that secure an entry by entering on the website and paying the full team entry fee. These lucky 100 individuals will then be the ‘team owners’ for their respective entries and will have until 30 September 2014 to nominate their team partners as well as the category (men/woman/mixed) under which they will be racing.

This will save a lot of substitution issues and afford team owners plenty time to make a careful decision about who their partners will be. Beyond 30 September 2014, teams will still have the opportunity to make further substitutions, subject to the conditions below. The cut-off date to change your race partner will be in mid-January!

Each subsequent year’s entries will also firstly be made available to all team entry owners. If the team entry owner at that stage decides not to enter the next race, he/she will be able to transfer the team ownership to their racing partner who will then be able to secure the entry for the next year.

The full Race Package cost covers race support for the full 7 days, with all your meals as mentioned, plus the relevant accommodation and additional services specified in the 
‘Race Support’ section.

SOLO ENTRIES:

The Solo category is a non-racing category. If you are racing for prize money you will need to enter as a team of two.
• Entry fee includes 3 meals a day and accommodation (Guest House; B&B and occasional hotel) for the duration of the stage race. It does not include accommodation the night before or after the event. It also does not include breakfast on Day 1 or supper on Day 8. 
• All accommodation is shared single beds. However, in the Solo’s will not share, therefore their cost is more. 
• If more than 10 Solo’s enter, we will consider creating a separate prize category.

No refunds on cancellation will be possible except if the team can be fully substituted by another team. The team that has cancelled their participation will only be refunded once the substitution team has fully paid for their entry. An administration fee R750 will be deducted from the refund. An existing, confirmed team may change one member of the team, but here also an administration fee of R300 will be charged. The last changes and substitutions must be done one calendar month before the start of the race and no last minute changes will be allowed at the start of the race or the day before at the registration venue.
