This event is a fundraiser for Jason Hall who was tragically paralysed in a mountain biking accident last year. Jason contributed greatly to the MTB community specifically in KZN and was an avid mountain biker and passionate Enduro rider.

In June 2018 Jason crashed while riding the Downhill course at Karkloof and spend 9 months in hospital with the result that he is now paralysed from his neck down. See HERE for more info.

Jason does not have a steady income currently and our aim is to raise enough funds for Jason to make his living conditions more pleasant and self manageable moving forward.

Our aim is that 100% of all funds raised go directly to Jason.

On Saturday 20 July we are planning a fun and relaxed evening for the whole family at the Shongweni Farmers Market starting at 5pm.

All entrants will stand a chance of winning a weekend getaway at Champagne Sports Resort to the value of R10 000, as well as cycling and apparel with approximately R8 000.

The evening will start off will a presentation by renowned Patrick Morewood, of PYGA bikes fame, regarding current and future cycling trends and equipment, specifically around mountain biking, followed by a Q&A session. See www.pygaindustries.com

This will be followed by an inspirational and uplifting motivational talk by the legendary Joey Evans, a former paraplegic motorbike rider who managed to complete the 2007 Dakar Rally on a motorbike. See www.joeyevans.co.za for more info.

Before the event in the afternoon, a relaxed 20km MTB ride is planned in the Shongweni area and we encourage all riders coming to the evening event to come along.

It will be a fun and uplifting evening with product giveaways, lucky draw raffles and possibly an auction.

Craft beer, craft Gin, cool drinks and burgers will be on sale.

Please spread the word for this great cause and enter via ROAG asap to avoid disappointment.
