STIHL St John's DSG Bundu Bash

The 1st Edition of the newly branded STIHL St Johns Bundu Bash Series took place at Baynesfield Estate on the 12th August, and it is great to report a 23% increase in entries from 2011. The series, under the title sponsorship of long time adventure sport supporters STIHL, promotes three schools in organising and facilitating three separate events that encompass a variety of disciplines, from mountain biking to swimming and trail running.

A key aspect of these events are the school's participation through organisation and participation, with pupils, parents and staff alike lending their support to ensure that the events are a huge success, which is exactly what the St Johns community achieved.

Next up it's off to Treverton for their chance to host leg 2 of the 2012 STIHL Bundu Bash Series.

Great fast course, excellent organisation all round. Well done ROAG and Stu Berry on dealing with challenging conditions caused by the gale force winds!
