Compendium Cycle Lab Derby

The inaugural Compendium Cycle Lab MTB Derby took place at the
weekend and it can only be described as a success, with a massive
field riding a course that seemed to be universally liked by the
entrants. Participants, whether they were 5 and 10km fun riders,
20km intermediates or 40km competitors, seemed to find the course
to their liking and the overall impression was one of a route that
fun and challenging but was not too arduous. The day as a whole
worked out well with the kids area, beer garden and start / finish
facilities very popular. With over 1 000 entrants (making this
the biggest first-time event ROAG has ever been involved
with) this event looks becoming a huge success in
the future.
